Several of my family members are unwell. I have been collecting their prescription-medicationboxes for years. When I am alone at night I draw and paint on, fold and photograph these boxes.

I place them on my living room floor, bedroom wall, in the laundry sink, and on the bathroom

benchtop. I document these altered medicine boxes in the dark, in black and white using close-upflash. I am intrigued by the haunting transcendent effects. I print these images at a small scale tomaintain and enhance the intimacies of family, abstraction and infection.
